BAM UK and Ireland is a division of Royal BAM Group. It delivers services across the built environment sector including civil engineering, construction, facilities management, and engineering and it has a range of specialist services including geotechnical, property development and energy consultancy businesses.
Active for over 150 years, it has always been at the forefront of technical and social change in the sector and is among the most sustainable being a signatory of the World Green Building Council Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment and it is one of very few construction companies placed on CDP's prestigious ‘A List’ for climate change.
BAM has created some of the most recognised structures in the UK and Ireland including most of the transformation of London’s Kings Cross, and is known for its collaborative ethos that drives its longstanding involvement with the Government’s schools and hospitals programmes and major joint ventures in the transport sector such as HS2. It is the largest contractor for Network Rail. Civil engineering schemes include the Thames Tideway Tunnel, the Dawlish Sea Wall, and the Antarctic Infrastructure Modernisation Programme.
The company is listed in the top 10 largest UK contractors and employs some 7000 people.
