The New Civil Engineer Graduate and Apprentice Awards are designed to recognise and reward the most inspiring civil engineering graduates and apprentices.

The talent of the new generation of civil engineers will be celebrated on Friday 24 November at the Institution of Civil Engineers' headquarters at 1 Great George Street in London, when six young professionals will be crowned in front of key industry figures.

Whether you are a graduate, apprentice or a degree apprentice, entering the awards will give you the chance to gain profile-raising experiences which could see you on our shortlist and interviewed face-to-face by our judging panel.

As well as our three main enterable categories, there are also three outstanding contribution awards up for grabs by the shortlisted candidates who show excellence in areas such as Carbon Net Zero, Digital Engineering and Outstanding Contribution to the Industry. The outstanding contribution category winners will be selected from the main category entries and all shortlisted graduates, apprentices, and degree apprentice are eligible for these categories.

As the civil engineering industry moves to adopt digital tools, this year’s awards will be asking candidates to not just share their amazing careers and work experiences so far but also describe how artificial intelligence (AI) could drive change across the industry and supply chain over the next five years.

The entry deadline for the 2023 awards has passed. Good luck with your entry!
