Celebrating the next generation of civil engineers

The New Civil Engineer’s Graduate and Apprentice Awards are designed to recognise and reward the most inspiring civil engineering graduates and apprentices.

The next generation of talent will be rewarded on Friday 22 November at the Institution of Civil Engineers’ headquarters at 1 Great George Street in London, when six young professionals will be crowned in front of key industry figures.

Whether you are a graduate, apprentice or a degree apprentice  the awards will give you the chance to gain profile-raising experiences which could see you on our shortlist and interviewed face-to-face by our judging panel.

As well as our 3 main categories, there are also three outstanding contribution awards up for grabs for individuals who show excellence in areas such as Carbon Net Zero, Digital Engineering and Outstanding Contribution to the Industry. The winners for these categories will be selected from the main category entries and are open to all graduates, apprentices, and degree apprentices.

As the civil engineering industry grapples with ageing infrastructure and climate resilience challenges, this year’s awards will be asking candidates to not just share their amazing career and work experiences so far but also describe how the industry can enhance resilience of infrastructure assets or networks to extend their life span.

Support your graduates and celebrate the next generation of civil engineers. The NCE Graduate and Apprentice Awards is an invite only awards ceremony, recognising the outstanding graduates and apprentices in civil engineering. The ceremony is only open to judges, VIPs, finalists and sponsors.
