Judging Process

The New Civil Engineer Graduate and Apprentice Awards has a thorough judging process which includes two main stages. Judges will score entries online to create the shortlist for the three main categories: Graduate of the Year, Apprentice of the Year, Graduate Apprentice of the Year.

Shortlisted entrants will then be expected to attend live face-to-face interviews with the judges and our editorial representative from which our winners will be chosen.

So, remember to put your best work forward, in order to get on the prestigious shortlist and remember that our three outstanding contribution awards will also be chosen from the shortlisted entries.

Live judging takes place between the 17-18 October 2024 at our offices in central London. You will be required to attend one day.
